On The Park Bench: The Villages

An interesting discussion between Andres Duany and Fernando Pages Ruiz about The Villages in Florida. Central to this chat is what new urbanists can learn from this project.
The discussion, moderated by Robert Steuteville, is worth listening to. Great analysis of a place that is often dismissed by New Urbanists, but provides some important lessons from two urbanists who did some great open-minded observation of the place.

Its refreshing to see open-minded urbanists re-examining The Villages. Sometimes overlooked projects can teach us valuable lessons in community design. https://mirrorimages.org
