MiCNU advocates for compact, walkable neighborhoods and building more great places. MiCNU empowers its members, allies, and Michiganders to build places people love, legalize walkability, and strengthen our cities, towns, and villages by making them more resilient.
MiCNU supports economic development, missing middle housing strategies, and a stronger tax base for communities. We advocate for places that enrich the lives of diverse people and meet a strong market demand. Effective City Building requires skill in design, building, and advocacy.
Our members are encouraged to share their ideas, get information and resources, and find partners to strengthen the built environment while preserving the natural environments of Michigan.
